What is the difference between Wove Pre-Designed Rings and the Wove Bespoke Process?

Although our Wove pre-designed rings are a curated selection of our best-selling designs, there may be extra details that you’d like to include in your ring that are not available in a pre-designed option. That’s why we created the Wove Bespoke Process. Meet with one of our world-class jewelry designers who will help you create a ring that’s uniquely yours. Whether you’d like to add a hidden gemstone, ornate band details, a custom engraving, or anything else - your designer will create a custom ring design that meets your requirements. After your initial consultation with your designer, receive a beautiful custom sketch of your ring to ensure that the design you had envisioned in your head matches what your designer has created for you. If you’re happy with your sketch, we create a custom try-on ring for you to try on at home before you buy your final ring.

What is the cost of creating a Wove bespoke ring?

In order for us to provide you with an unmatched design experience, our bespoke engagement rings start at $3000. Our pricing reflects the value our clients receive from our exceptional custom process which includes working with a personal jewelry designer to create your one-of-a-kind ring, as well as our at-home try-on experience. Clients that do our bespoke design experience are also able to keep their custom try-on ring as a travel ring.

How does the bespoke try-on process work?

We want you to feel confident in your design, which is why every custom ring includes the option of an at home try-on before your final ring is made. Before we begin crafting your replica, your designer will share a hand-drawn sketch and/or a 3D rendering for you to review and approve. Once approved, we’ll start production after receiving a 50% non-refundable deposit. The replica is built to match your final ring as closely as possible (think 95% of the way there with room for tweaks) so you can test the size, fit, and style in real life. Wear it around the house, at the gym, or even on the beach to see how it works with your lifestyle. You can keep your replica as your “Honeymoon Ring.” Once you've had some time with your replica ring, we’ll make the adjustments you’d like to your design before creating your final piece. If those changes affect the total price, your remaining balance will be updated accordingly. The balance is due prior to shipping your final ring, which typically arrives within 4–6 weeks.

What are try-on rings made out of?

Wove try-on rings are created with alloys and imitation diamonds to give you a realistic, yet low-cost version of your priceless ring.

Where are Wove Bespoke Rings made?

We work with local jewellers in historic Lancaster, Pennsylvania with support from other partners across the United States. Our goldsmiths are specially trained and have decades of experience making custom jewelry.

Who are the Wove Designers?

Wove designers have been immersed in the jewelry industry and are specially trained to give couples a remarkable design experience. Our designers are all educated and certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).

Can I work with my designer on new projects?

Yes! Wove designers can become your personal jewelry designers for life. We’re your jewelry team. You can open up new collaborations in your account and start the designing process right away.

Can I keep my bespoke try-on ring?

Yes! For bespoke rings, you get to keep your try-on ring! The replica ring is an optional process when designing a custom engagement ring through Wove, your try-on ring is an additional $400 but you will be able to keep it to use as your “Honeymoon Ring.” Take it with you on your honeymoon without worrying about losing or damaging your actual ring.

Which ring style suits me?

Wove designers are trained to help you determine what your preferences are, and then translate those preferences into a ring that you'll love. By working with one of our designers and trying on your design through our home try-on process, you will learn what style suits you best.

How long will my ring take to arrive?

Once you’ve placed your home try-on order, your custom try-on ring is built and sent to you within 3 weeks. After placing your final ring order, your final ring is handcrafted and will arrive at your door within 4-6 weeks. Any bespoke project requiring completion in less than 20 business days will be subject to a rush fee. This additional investment into the labor of love towards your project ensures we can reconcile any adjustments and have the highest quality control in a swift manner to meet your deadline.

What happens if I want to alter the design after I receive my try-on ring?

If you’ve worked with us to create a bespoke ring, it’s easy to make changes to your design! Contact your designer and they will schedule a follow-up consultation to walk through any adjustments your ring requires.

What are the benefits of buying a custom ring with Wove as opposed to buying one in-store?

Wove offers an at-home try on service for both custom and pre-designed rings. We are dedicated to helping you find “The One,” and our home try-on service ensures that you’re buying with complete confidence. No high pressure sales staff and no 6-8 week wait for custom jewelry (with no trial). Wove stands alone.

Who should design the ring - the wearer or the proposer?

There’s no right way to create your ring! We work with all types of relationships and if you want to be involved in designing your ring with your partner, then we highly encourage you to. Typically the wearer and the proposer begin the process together by both attending the first design consultation. Then, once the wearer decides which style ring they like best, the proposer takes it from there.

Does Wove work with all types of gemstones?

We're committed to creating stunning, durable pieces that you'll treasure for years to come. While we can work with most gemstones, we recommend choosing stones that are at least 7 on the Mohs hardness scale for everyday wear pieces. These harder gemstones (like diamonds, sapphires, and rubies) are more resistant to scratches and damage. We can work with softer stones (below 7 on the Mohs scale), but we'll have an honest conversation with you about durability expectations. For example, pearls are beautiful but delicate—it's not a matter of if a pearl will need to be replaced, but when. As your jewelers for life, we'll always be here to assist with any maintenance your pieces might need. Please note that while our commitment to your jewelry is unwavering, replacement of damaged softer stones will incur additional fees.

Wove will resize your ring for free up to 100 days following your purchase.

Why does my ring fit differently throughout the day or year?

Ring sizing can be a bit tricky, as it’s influenced by factors like temperature, time of day, and even hydration. During warmer months or physical activity, your fingers may swell, making rings feel snugger. In contrast, cooler weather can cause fingers to shrink slightly, making rings feel looser or more prone to spinning. Hands are also typically at their smallest in the morning and gradually swell as the day progresses. These subtle fluctuations are completely normal! The key is to choose a ring size that feels comfortable most of the time—not too tight during warm, active moments, and not too loose in cooler conditions where it might slip off.

DOES WOVE OFFER FREE SHIPPING?

Wove offers free shipping on all purchases over $250 within the United States. Any purchase under $250 is subject to a $15 shipping free within the US and a $45 fee when shipping to Canada. Upon delivery, Non-US residents will be subject to the applicable duties and fees assessed in their home countries on international shipments

ARE THERE ANY INSURANCE OPTIONS AVAILABLE?

We provide a complementary appraisal of your ring and this is all you should need to obtain insurance.

WHAT IS WOVE’S ENGAGEMENT RING & WEDDING BAND RETURN POLICY?

Wove is committed to creating a ring that you’ll love. For both custom designs and pre-designed styles, Wove offers each engagement ring client an optional home try-on service to ensure that they love their final ring. Once you agree to your final design we will build your final (non-refundable) engagement ring.

DO YOU SHIP OUTSIDE OF THE US?

Yes! Domestic shipping is free, but for an additional fee, Wove will ship your ring to Canada, Mexico and the UK. Upon delivery, Non-US residents will be subject to the applicable duties and fees assessed in their home countries on international shipments

DOES WOVE OFFER FINANCING?

For our Bespoke Rings, we offer two unique payment options. Most commonly, clients use the Wove payment plan. With this option, we collect an up-front 50% deposit on the total price of your ring to reserve your center stone and begin production on the ring. You’ll then have the option to pay the remaining 50% balance in full before shipping or over 3 months for no interest. Our second payment option is through Affirm. With this option, you’ll apply for an Affirm Virtual Card for your ring’s total price. Once Affirm approves your credit, we’ll send along a payment link to pay the ring in full. You’ll pay Affirm back on your comfortable schedule agreed with them. Please contact your designer directly to discuss available financing options.

WHAT IS WOVE'S JEWELRY RETURN POLICY?

Wove is committed to creating a piece of custom jewelry that you'll love. Due to the nature of our production process and given that all custom pieces are made to order, all custom jewelry is final sale. We offer a 30-day return window for pre-designed jewelry pieces for a full return.

Wove Lifetime Warranty

At Wove, we take pride in crafting exceptional jewelry designed to stand the test of time. Our commitment to quality ensures your piece remains as stunning as the day you received it. We provide complimentary lifetime cleaning and replacement of accent diamonds under 0.10ct due to normal wear. While our warranty does not cover center stones, larger diamonds, damage, loss, or theft, our expert jewelers are available to assist with repairs as needed. To preserve the integrity of your jewelry and warranty, we recommend all servicing be completed by Wove.

WHAT MAKES WOVE RINGS UNIQUE?

All Wove rings come with the option of a try-on ring, which is a ring made of non-precious materials that allow you to try on the ring at home before purchasing the real ring. This service allows you to buy your final ring with 100% confidence that you will love your real ring after seeing it in person. Wove rings are made entirely in the USA by master goldsmiths and sustainably created with 100% recycled metals and ethically sourced diamonds.

In order for us to offer the highest ring quality and craftsmanship, our ring pricing starts at $1000. Included in our pricing is a free home try-on experience, which will ensure that you’re 100% happy with your ring design before ordering your final ring.

Diamonds & Certification

WHAT ARE GIA DIAMOND CERTIFICATES?

The GIA is the most prominent and respected diamond grading lab in the world. Each GIA graded diamond comes with a grading report that shows all of the specifications (“4 C’s”) and characteristics of the diamond. Each Wove engagement ring set with a GIA diamond will be accompanied by a GIA diamond grading certificate.

WHAT IS THE QUALITY OF THE MELEE DIAMONDS USED IN YOUR JEWELRY?

Wove only uses diamonds of the highest quality. We never use diamonds below I Color and SI2 Clarity, and we typically use G Color and VS2 Clarity diamonds and above in engagement rings and wedding bands to maximize brilliance.

ARE ALL WOVE DIAMONDS ETHICALLY SOURCED?

Yes! All Wove diamonds have been assessed by the Kimberly Process to ensure that they’re ethically sourced.

DOES WOVE HAVE LAB-CREATED DIAMONDS OR NATURAL DIAMONDS?

Wove offers both natural and lab-grown diamond options. Your designer will walk through your diamond options with you and our team of gemologists will source the perfect diamond for your preference.

Are there any pieces excluded from this offer?

If I buy 2 FFF boxes can I use my two codes on two individual purchases (not stacking)?

Do you offer sterling silver jewelry?

We currently offer sterling silver versions of select Jewelry pieces, including our Lover Bracelet and Monogram Studs.

Can this offer be applied to custom jewelry?

Yes! You are welcome to use your credit towards a custom piece of jewelry. However, as all our custom designs are created using 14k gold or platinum metals, our custom designs typically begin at $1,000. If you’d like to create a custom piece you can book a meeting with one of our jewelry designers and your discount code will be applied in person over a Zoom call.
